It is the time of year again that I love and hate in equal measure. It’s PLANNER PURCHASE SEASON (in other words one of the BIGGEST decisions we make coming into a new year…our planner becomes our companion, business buddy and accountability partner all in one).
It’s being tempted by the new “must have” planner season. The new beautifully photographed planner. The new instagramable planner. It’s the time of year when you realise that you have spent more cash than you dare to admit on finding the perfect planner for the year ahead … again … just like last year.

I have to be honest. I am a diary tart. There I said it. I have “flozzied” with lots of different planners, diaries, journals, notebooks…the whole lot!
And this planner infidelity has taught me one thing. When I write down my tasks and block time out, I get stuff done. When I don’t, I don’t. Simple.
I know what I am looking for. I know what I need to make me the most productive version of myself. I know what I need to have by my side when I grow my business. A planner that works for me.
So, however you do it, whichever planner you decide to buy, think about what makes YOU productive and then choose a planner that goes hand in hand with that.
